Case Summary:

A postdoctoral researcher from China approached North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help him get one step closer to green card success. After a thorough analysis of his credentials, we confirmed that we could take up his case. Our client’s research has attracted and nurtured numerous organizations in the US that deal with applications in fields ranging from microfluidics, biomedicine to energy harvesting. Specifically, his work on ‘superomniphobicity’ has changed or improved processes employed by a wide range of commercial production and manufacturing industries.

In order to demonstrate the significant impact of our client’s work to the US, we proved his specialist role in the field of materials science and how he is a valuable addition to the country’s scientific community. Additionally, in our client’s NIW petition, we outlined his outstanding record of authorship. At the time of filing, he had 9 peer-reviewed journal articles (five of them first-authored) to his name. Furthermore, we listed the 230 times his findings were cited by other researchers and the 100 times he was invited to judge the work of his peers.

A major role in strengthening our client’s petition was played by the recommendation letters that strongly advocated his accomplishments in his field. According to one of his dependent recommenders: “Before beginning his work in our research group, [Client’s] excellent reputation preceded him, and his contributions to our lab have met and exceeded such grand expectations”.

Nearly nine months after filing his NIW petition, the USCIS granted their approval. We congratulate our client and wish him the best as he continues to advance the field of materials science in the United States.
