Client’s Testimonial:

“I appreciate the work you guys have done for this.”

On August 14th, 2021, we received another EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) approval for a Process Technology Engineer in the Field of Chemical Engineering (Approval Notice).

General Field: Chemical Engineering

Position at the Time of Case Filing: Process Technology Engineer

Country of Origin: China

State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Texas

Approval Notice Date: August 14th, 2021

Processing Time: 13 months, 4 days

Case Summary:

In September 2020, a process technology engineer from China approached us to help him file an NIW (National Interest Waiver) application on his behalf. With thousands of successful applications, we are already on top of the immigration game. This gave us the insight that we needed to win this case. We made certain that his academic and professional qualifications were showcased to his advantage. This helped the adjudicating authority decide in his favor.

For this, we ensured that his publication count, his citation records, his CV and transcripts, etc were all in place and presented in detail in the petition packet. We saw that in recognition of the value and importance of his work, it has been granted funding by the Ministry of Education of China and the Program of Energy Research and Development of Canada. These institutions are dedicated to promoting higher education and a more sustainable energy future and these grants are incredibly competitive.

We found evidence that, by the time we file the case, his work has resulted in 7 peer-reviewed journal articles (5 of them first-authored). And these publications have been cited a total of 15 times according to Google Scholar, thereby demonstrating that these publications are recognized and relied upon in the field of chemical engineering.

Another thing we usually ask our clients to do is obtain letters supporting their claim to expertise in the field from other established experts and peers. We have found this to be an effective way to prove the value of our client’s work to USCIS. So, when we asked him to obtain letters of support, he was able to get 3 independent and 2 dependent letters. Some of the excerpts are quoted in the paragraphs below:

“Talented chemical engineers such as [client] affect great improvements in key pillars of the global economy, particularly the pharmaceutical, environmental, and petroleum industries. From the smallest nanomaterials to large-scale industrial processes, his contributions to modern technology encompass a range of crucial areas and are invaluable to society as a whole. Considering the importance of his work in the field, I believe [he] must be permitted to move forward with his research goals.”

“Overall, his development of equation-oriented models for DWC simulations can significantly accelerate the design/research on DWC, thus directly contributing to more environmentally and operationally efficient petrochemical plants. In light of these pressing needs, the work of [client] is a major contributor to sustained economic prosperity and environmental protection in the United States, and it is highly beneficial that it be allowed to continue unimpeded.”

We are thus proud to have been of aid to him in this process. We wish him the very best in all future endeavors.
