In this EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) case, North America Immigration Law Group filed an I-140 on behalf of a teaching assistant/doctoral candidate from Iran. Our client has two master’s degrees (one in mathematics and the other in computer science) and is currently conducting research on data mining and analysis of large datasets, with a specific focus on extracting information from raw social network and genomic data. Although he had strong credentials, he needed our help to present a solid EB-2 NIW case to the USCIS.

In our well-thought-out petition packet, we established that our client’s research is contributing to the United States technology and information sector by allowing for greater utilization of social networks to gather valuable information relevant to multiple American industries.
