Case Summary:
After a long wait (14. 5 months), a research assistant professor from Iran finally received notification of EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) approval. Despite our best efforts, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence (RFE). Our team promptly responded to it and despite the long wait, our client is finally one big step closer to US permanent residency.
What did the customized NIW petition packet contain?
For one, we noted our client’s Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering and his various projects on the development of physical models simulating soil water flow, heat/mass transport, and electromagnetic wave propagation across land surfaces. We worked diligently to persuade the USCIS that our client’s research efforts are contributing to the United States’ environmental monitoring programs.
