General Field: Neonatology

Country of Origin: India

Service Center: Nebraska Service Center (NSC)

State of Residence at the Time of Filing: New York

Approval Notice Date: February 19th, 2016

Processing Time: 3 months, 28 days

Case Summary:

Nebraska Service Center spent a little under four months reviewing this EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) case before granting their approval. Our client, a fellow working in the field of neonatology, hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help him get closer to his goal of attaining a green card. We carried out our work efficiently, as evidenced by the approval notice that he received from the USCIS.

North America Immigration Law Group’s role:

As part of our duties, we went to great lengths to properly interpret our client’s research on role of caffeine in hyperoxia induced lung injury, neonatal ventilation techniques and the prevention of central line-associated bloodstream infections. Based on the information that we obtained and summarized, we deducted that our client’s findings are crucial to the American healthcare industry and the field’s overall understanding of the prevention and treatment of these diseases. Furthermore, we established that his efforts are contributing to the United States economy through the reduction of healthcare expenditure and newborn hospital stay lengths.

We helped our client select potential recommenders who were willing to submit testimonials authenticating the quality of his research. Six experts agreed to contribute recommendation letters, one of whom wrote, “Having produced important achievements thus far, I unequivocally expect that [Client] will continue to make similarly important advances in the future.” Another expert had this to say about our client: “…it is readily apparent that [Client’s] labors have greatly impacted the international research community, as well as the healthcare received by the most at-risk newborn babies. In his research, he has proven the inimitable nature of his skills and talent in the area, which have all been to the benefit of the United States and the health of its people.”

Our client is now waiting for his priority date to become current before filing I-485 applications for himself and his wife. When the time comes, we look forward to helping them attain their green cards.
