Client’s Testimonial:

“Thank you again for your huge effort on my case.”

On November 2nd, 2022, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Field of Magnetic Materials and Spintronic Devices (Approval Notice).

General Field: Magnetic Materials and Spintronic Devices

Position at the Time of Case Filing: Postdoctoral Fellow

Country of Origin: China

State of Residence at the Time of Filing: New Jersey

Approval Notice Date: November 2nd, 2022

Processing Time: 13 days (Premium Processing Requested)

Case Summary:

Our EB1-A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) client from China, who is an expert in magnetic materials and spintronic devices, made it evident that she is a valued member of the scientific community and her work is of immense value to the United States. Thus, while preparing her petition letters, our team made sure to incorporate the 4 letters of recommendation which went a long way in getting the case approved.

As is well known, the EB1-A is a type of employment-based immigration visa for foreign nationals who have established themselves in their chosen field of study through nationally relevant research and achievements in academic and professional arenas. This was also the case with our client, who had a Ph.D. in materials physics and chemistry and was working as a postdoctoral fellow at the time of her application filing.

Working on her case we discovered that she was especially well-known for discovering that spin, ferroelectric, and optical indices simultaneously serve as information carriers in storage devices, greatly increasing data density. She had also made original contributions of major significance to the field of condensed matter physics, including, but not limited to, expanding the data density of spintronic and magnetic devices, achieving multifunctional spintronic and magnetic devices with low energy consumption, and identifying low-cost, readily available alternative materials to rare-earth elements for fabricating permanent magnets.

Additionally, her academic output was also an attestation of her value to the scientific community. She had conducted at least 16 reviews for journals that included internationally known journals in her area of expertise. Along with this, her research has been published in 28 peer-reviewed scientific articles. These publications have also been cited 521 times by researchers in at least 46 countries, according to Google Scholar, thereby demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field of condensed matter physics. This also places her in the top 1% of most highly cited authors publishing on topics in ferromagnetism, material design, and spintronics topics over the past 7 years, according to OpenAlex.

All of these bits and pieces of data further authenticated her work’s worth winning the approval in just 13 days. This was due to her credentials and our teamwork combined with the premium processing upgrade for which she opted. We are grateful to her for choosing us, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
