The client in this case was a postdoctoral fellow from China in the field of medicinal chemistry. His research had focused on the design and development of small-molecule therapeutics for various human diseases. His work has resulted in at least 15 peer-reviewed scientific articles.  At the time that his case was filed, his publications had accumulated at least 181 citations, clearly demonstrating that he had influenced his field and garnered international acclaim.  In addition, he served as a peer reviewer for several leading chemistry journals.
