Case Summary:

Our client, a research associate from Brazil, engaged our services to file an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition on his behalf. He has a Ph.D. in Physics and is conducting research in the field of Theoretical Physics. Our client’s research projects cover nonlinear field theory and nuclear physics, and he uses physical principles to explain the complex patterns in the brain to better understand human cognitive processes. For his case to succeed, it was very important for the North America Immigration Law Group to prove that no other physicist with similar credentials has achieved what he has.

Our well-balanced EB-2 NIW petition also contained several recommendation letters volunteered by experts in our client’s field. One of these letters of support established that “[Client] is a highly skilled scientist, whose work is crucial for the development of new and innovative techniques in science, in particular to understand the inner workings of our brain […] [Client] has made unusually significant contributions to the compilation of neural data for science and technology.” We further fortified this NIW petition by enclosing information on our client’s publication and citation record, which at the time of filing stood at 12 and 59, respectively.

Because we professionally presented the many advantages that our client’s work has for the United States, his I-140 was approved by the USCIS seven months later. We congratulate our client and wish him the best in his continued research.

Resumo do Caso:
