The client’s research covers critical tasks such as predicting brain age for early detection of neurodegenerative diseases and assessing prostate cancer survival status. These initiatives are positioned to not only advance medical knowledge but also alleviate the financial burden on the healthcare system by supporting more timely and efficient interventions. With a Ph.D. in computer science and prior academic and postdoctoral experience in leading international institutions, the client has a solid foundation for this pursuit. He is currently applying his expertise in AI at a U.S.-based medical research center.

Demonstrated Record of Success:

The client has published 4 peer-reviewed journal articles and 4 peer-reviewed conference articles, many of which appeared in highly ranked venues. His published works have garnered 54 citations, indicating that his methodologies have influenced peers in advancing machine learning models and improving image classification techniques.

Moreover, his article on few-shot image classification ranks among the top 10% most-cited papers in computer science for its publication year, a clear testament to its impact. Other scholars have built on his findings in areas ranging from domain adaptation and urban environment image augmentation to brain network diagnostics, proving the continued relevance and utility of his work.

The client has also served as a reviewer for at least 26 academic manuscripts submitted to leading AI and multimedia journals and conferences.

Securing Research Funding:

Further affirming the national importance and promise of his work, the client has received research funding from competitive sources including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. These sources are known to support projects that drive technological innovation and socioeconomic advancement, highlighting the significance of his ongoing contributions.

In support of the petition, NAILG submitted two expert letters of recommendation from established researchers, one of whom served as an independent recommender unaffiliated with the client’s institutions. Despite receiving a Request for Evidence (RFE), NAILG successfully addressed all concerns and demonstrated the client’s qualifications under the Matter of Dhanasar framework. The I-140 NIW petition was approved within just over 6 months after filing, reflecting the strength of the evidence presented and the clarity of the case strategy.
