Success Stories: EB-1A Petition Rapidly Approved for Postdoctoral Fellow in Oklahoma in the Field of Molecular Biology (PP Requested)
Client’s Testimonial:
“I am really very very happy to see the way your law firms working.”
On March 10th, 2017, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Field of Molecular Biology (Approval Notice).
General Field: Molecular Biology
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Postdoctoral Fellow
Country of Origin: India
Service Center: Texas Service Center (TSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Oklahoma
Approval Notice Date: March 10th, 2017
Processing Time: 9 Days (Premium Processing Requested)
Case Summary:
Exactly 9 days after North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) filed an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on behalf of an Indian postdoctoral fellow, the USCIS approved it. The reason it was approved so quickly is because our client opted to pay them an extra $1,225 to have his petition filed with Premium Processing (PP)—the USCIS guarantees that PP cases will have action taken on them within 15 calendar days.
What did the EB1A dossier contain?
For starters, it was comprised of 6 recommendation letters volunteered by other experts working in the field of molecular biology. These letters advocated for the approval of our client’s EB1A petition and contained statements that supported the importance of his research on substances involved in cancer proliferation and treatment. For instance, this is what one of his recommenders noted: “There is no doubt that [Client] is an irreplaceable member of the molecular and cellular biology community, and without his continued presence in the field, the United States and the world as a whole will be at a considerable disadvantage.”
Alongside these recommendation letters stood details related to our client’s prolific career as a molecular biologist. Amongst other things, we listed the 190 times his work was cited, the 17 publications to his name, and the 50 times he judged the work of his peers.
As we were able to convince the USCIS that our client is an asset to the United States, he was propelled one step closer to his green card. We thank him for choosing us to represent his EB1A petition, and also for retaining our services to help him and his dependent with their I-485 applications (last step in the green card process). As we wait for the USCIS to take action on their applications, we wish our client the best as he continues to carry out his important research here in the US.
