The average processing time for I-140 cases is 4-6 months. But on many occasions, we have cases approved far faster than the average processing time.
Another exceptional client that Chen Immigration Law Associates had the pleasure of working with was a postdoctoral fellow at a private research university working in the field of pathology. Most of his work had centered on two specific areas of study, including treating spinal cord injuries with astrocytes and stem cells for cell regeneration, as well as treating metabolic disorders via gene regulation. We at Chen Immigration Law Associates demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would not only benefit those in his field, but the citizens of the United States at large. To achieve success in this case, we submitted extensive documentation proving our client’s highly significant contributions to the field of pathology, including at least 7 peer-reviewed journal articles, which had been published in several of the top ranking journals of the field. This is an admirable record compared to that of his peers. Of his accomplishments, one of the independent recommenders remarked: “He has made invaluable contributions and efforts toward promoting deeper comprehension of the progression of neurodegenerative diseases. Specifically, his work has been focused on neuroscience, wherein [client] has sought to decipher the specific type of astrocyte that can provide numerous benefits to an injured central nervous system. Research in this area is necessary and as I have evaluated the work of [client], I have become even more convinced of the breakthrough discoveries...” Through extensive documentation, we at Chen Immigration Law Associates successfully argued that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW application was approved in 2 months.
