Success Stories: EB-1A Petition Approved in a Week for Chinese Postdoctoral Associate in Rhode Island in the Field of Physical Chemistry
Client’s Testimonial:
“It has been a great experience working with your firm. With the deep understand of the requirements for various kinds of immigration visas from your group, the assessment of the eligibilities of the candidates was very precise and sufficient. Your professional strategy for my case was particularly effective and helpful to make my work comprehensive to everyone. All my questions were answered within one day, and I appreciated your patience to help and support me even with couple of my individual problems. Working as a postdoc, I didn’t really have time to prepare and optimize my petition, all the materials was very well prepared, customized and assembled in a way that my contributions was highlighted and clear to the immigration officer. I can tell the great effort and work you have put in for my case. Thank you so much!! I would love to recommend to everyone who will need professional assistance for immigration visa!”

Case Summary:
A recent client of ours was described as “one of the best researchers in his specialty.” Although this Chinese postdoctoral associate had very impressive credentials, he needed North America Immigration Law Group’s help to build and present a convincing EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) case to the USCIS. He opted for Premium Processing and received an approval notice merely a week after filing.
Putting together a strong EB1A petition:
Among other things, we chose to focus on our client’s work in the field of physical chemistry. After reviewing and understanding his research on the synthesis and application of nanomaterials and nanoparticles toward the creation of high-quality semiconductor quantum dots (QDs), we concluded that his findings are of great importance to the United States.
We also listed the 170 citations collected from our client’s 13 published scientific articles as well as the over two dozen times he judged the work of his peers. We further fortified his EB1A petition by integrating six recommendation letters signed by other respected physical chemists. According to one of them: “Expertise in this diverse array of areas is representative of [Client's] unparalleled skills, and based on his research career so far, it is obvious that he will continue to make remarkable contributions to physical chemistry and its related applications in the years ahead.”
We would like to thank our client for selecting our firm to represent his EB1A case. The approval of this petition is another example of our team’s sterling record of helping our clients obtain I-140 approval. In this case, our client chose to retain our I-485 services as well, which entailed preparing and filing I-485 applications for him and his spouse. We are currently waiting for the USCIS to take action on their applications, and in the meantime, we wish our client the best as he continues to conduct important research in the field of physical chemistry.
