Case Summary:

Exactly 2 months and 10 days after North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) filed an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition for an Iranian doctoral candidate, the USCIS approved his case. We are especially pleased that it took them less than 2.5 months to adjudicate our client’s petition, propelling him one big step closer to green card success sooner than expected (it usually takes the USCIS between 4-9 months to process I-140 petitions).

Building a case based on Matter of Dhanasar:

Based on Matter of Dhanasar (the analytical framework for assessing eligibility for “national interest waivers”), the USCIS adjudicated our client’s NIW case in terms of the substantial merit and national importance of his work on organic synthesis methodology; his ability to advance the field of chemistry; and that on balance, it would be beneficial to the United States to waive the job offer and labor certification requirements.

As part of our services, we gathered a wealth of information related to our client’s work in the field of chemistry. We listed the 39 citations gathered from his work as well as his 4 publications and 1 patent. We worked diligently to prove to the USCIS that these repeated successes serve as a veritable guarantee that our client is an asset to the US. Furthermore, we incorporated recommendation letters signed by other expert chemists. One of these recommenders noted the following in his letter: “[Client] has had a considerable impact on his field. […] [Client’s] achievements to date and his extensive research abilities leave me with little doubt that he will continue to produce impactful research as his career continues.”

Taking the final step:

We would like to thank our client for selecting us to represent his NIW case. It was a pleasure working with him and we thank him for retaining our services to help him and his dependent with their I-485 applications. We promise them our continued support and look forward to helping them secure their green cards.
