Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law GroupWeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with in this case was a graduate research assistant from Iran. His work has focused specifically on the development of automatically-learning semantic models of structured sources and the publishing of semantic data on the web. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 13 conference proceedings (8 of them first-authored). His publications had been cited at least 113 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  The importance of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client] has shown himself to be a scientist of strong standing within the scientific community. Not only is his research readily applicable to a variety of online networks, it is foundational to the work of other researchers in the field who have relied on it to complete their own studies. [Client’s] impressive record of publications leads me to believe that we will have years of additional influential research if he is allowed to continue in his studies in the United States.” Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 5 months and 3 days.
