Case Summary:
A climate scientist from China hired North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) to help her prepare and file an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition. Before we agreed to take on her case, we carefully reviewed her credentials and asked her questions related to her research and future plans in the United States. Once we confirmed that she was a suitable EB1A candidate, we countersigned the retainer agreement and got to work.
One of the first things we did was to help our client narrow down a list of influential researchers working in the field of climatology who could serve as recommenders for her case. She then reached out to the shortlisted candidates and asked them for recommendation letters. The six letters she secured served as subjective evidence that she is a well-known researcher who has risen to the top of her field of climatology. As an example, this is what one of these recommenders said about our client: “She has already made major contributions to her field, and it is without a doubt that these advancements will continue for as long as [Client] is conducting research. Her sustained participation in climate-related research will continue to contribute greatly to the scientific advancement of the field as a whole.”
Besides that, we also gathered an array of information pertaining to our client’s research on developing and evaluating models of climate change and its effects. We analyzed a wealth of information to prove that our client’s efforts address some of our nation’s most pressing issues in understanding the complex and interactive manner in which climate change affects industry, natural phenomena, eco-systems, and more. Further, we detailed our client’s 16 published articles, the 27 times she assessed the work of her peers, and the 119 citations gathered from her work.
Thanks to Premium Processing (PP), our client received notification of case approval merely 13 days after the petition was filed. We congratulate her for coming this far in the green card process, and we thank her for retaining our I-485 services to help her and her spouse adjust their status for permanent residence.
