We, North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com, worked with a Fellow of Cardiology from India obtain EB1-A Alien of Extraordinary Ability approval. This client’s work had focused on atrial fibrillation, cardiovascular disease epidemiology, coronary artery disease, sudden cardiac death, and many other diseases related to the heart. In addition to writing 25 journal articles and 50 publications for conferences, this client had conducted peer-reviews for 26 journals and also presented at an American Heart Association meeting, which resulted in being featured on websites and in medical news publications. To support this case, we provided evidence of his publications and presentations, as well as providing evidence of his 63 citations at the time of filing this case. One recommender stated: “Heart failure and atrial fibrillation often co-exist in patients with heart complications. There is an extensive literature on heart failure in patients with depressed heart contractile function (poorly performing heart muscle), yet literature on heart failure in patients with well-preserved contractile function is sparse. To evaluate the relationship between heart muscle function, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure, [Client]’s study measured the morbidity rates of patients with and without contractile dysfunction. [Client]’s study found that the morbidity rates were remarkably similar, which has helped improve cardiologist’s understanding of the causes of heart failure.”
