In this case, the client that we had the opportunity to work with was a pharmaceutical scientist from India in the field of pharmacy.  She had conducted her research in the highly specialized area ofnovel cancer treatment development and design. Her work had resulted in 5 peer-reviewed scientific articles and numerous presentations at national and international conferences; at the time that her case was filed, her publications had been cited at least 186 times by independent and leading researchers from prestigious institutions and organizations around the world, indicating the major significance of her work.  She had also reviewed 23 manuscripts for distinctive, internationally-circulated journals.  Her superior level of expertise was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client’s] approach has taken several innovative forms over the years with a number of benchmarks in her career studying […]. Client’s] studies translate into a higher rate of survival for patients affected by […] and other forms of cancer by providing novel drug targets and identifying prognostic biomarkers. In addition, in her studies, [Client] has proven adept at mastering the immense potential of pharmaceutical science to treat cancer by exploiting newly discovered mechanisms with drugs that stop cancer before it has a chance to spread, even overcome resistance and recurrence.” It was our goal to prove that our client qualified for classification as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability given that she sought to remain in the United States to continue work in the area of pharmacy, and that her continued research would substantially and prospectively benefit the United States. With the proof and documentation that we provided, her case was approved in 23 days (11 days after requesting Premium Processing).
