In this case, the client that we had the opportunity to work with was a Chief Engineer from China in the field of Automotive Engineering.  He had conducted his research in the highly specialized areas of ride comfort improvement in order to reduce driver fatigue, bionics technology and application in vehicles, development of quadruped walking vehicles, the development of road test simulators to evaluate vehicle performance and durability, steering measurement analysis and simulation, and research and development of vehicle vibration reduction systems. His work had resulted in 20 peer-reviewed scientific articles in leading journals, 9 conference presentations and 1 book chapter; at the time that his case was filed, his publications had been cited at least 108 times by independent and leading researchers from prestigious institutions and organizations around the world, indicating the major significance of his work.  He had also reviewed 100 manuscripts for distinctive, internationally-circulated journals.  His superior level of expertise was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client’s] study was the seminal research that helped other researchers analyze animal locomotion in buffalo and other cattle.”  It was our goal to prove that our client qualified for classification as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability given that he sought to remain in the United States to continue work in the area of Automotive Engineering, and that his continued research would substantially and prospectively benefit the United States.
