Case Summary:

In this case, the client that we had the opportunity to work with was a Postdoctoral Fellow from China in the field of Polymer Chemistry.  His specialized research has focused on the application of polymer science to the improved design and synthesis of nanomaterials and particularly nanoparticles with biomedical and environmental applications. His work had resulted in 21 peer-reviewed scientific articles, numerous presentations at national and international conferences, and 1 patent application; at the time that his case was filed, his publications had been cited at least 162 times by leading researchers from prestigious institutions and organizations around the world, indicating the major significance of his work.  He had also reviewed 32 manuscripts for distinctive, internationally-circulated journals.  It was our goal to prove that our client qualified for classification as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability given that he sought to remain in the United States to continue work in the area of Polymer Chemistry, and that his continued research would substantially and prospectively benefit the United States. With the proof and documentation that we provided, his case was approved in 10 months and 20 days without RFE.
