Success Stories: EB-1A Petition Approved by Nebraska Service Center for Chinese Postdoctoral Researcher with 145 Citations in the Field of Pharmaceutical Science

Client’s Testimonial:

“Thank you very much for all the effort for my I40 case. I already recommended Chen Immigration to my friends. One of my friends signed a contract with you last year and her I140 Eb1b case just got approved last month. My [other] friend is considering to have your help with her eb1b soon. Before I decided to apply EB1A, I consulted different law companies and most of them recommended me go with NIW instead. However, WeGreen Law group was very supportive and agreed to file EB1A for me. All staff from Chen Immigration work very efficient and professional. You treated my case very seriously and did a very good job on understanding my work and drafting PL and recommendation letters. My citation and reviews are not as many as others’, but the lawyers worked really hard to highlight my achievement. I will highly recommend you to everyone I know!”

Case Summary:

Nearly 7 months after North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) filed an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on our client’s behalf, the USCIS granted their approval. With a doctorate in pharmaceutical science and many years of experience in the same field, our client was a suitable candidate for this tough visa category.

We were tasked with putting together a strong petition packet on our client’s behalf and we made sure to include as much relevant information as we could on her multiple professional achievements. For instance, we documented her research projects on vaccine formulation enhancement, including vaccine delivery system development, novel vaccine adjuvant synthesis, thermal administration of vaccination, and vaccine freeze-drying. As our client’s work progresses the development of therapeutics for treating the world’s most deadly, devastating, and costly diseases, she is certainly an asset to the United States, most notably its medical and pharmaceutical industries. According to an influential member of the pharmaceutical science research community: “[Client] has truly left her mark on the research community, and based on all of her important contributions so far, it is readily apparent that she will continue to produce remarkable results for pharmaceutical research and beyond into the future. Without her sustained research, I anticipate costly delays in scientific progress within the respective fields. Therefore, I am strongly supportive of [Client's] continued research in the United States, where it is sure to continue thriving and benefiting medical practices in countries all over the globe.” He was not alone in this firm show of support by our client and was joined by several of his peers, all of whom contributed signed recommendation letters which we incorporated into the EB-1A petition packet.

With a dozen published scientific articles and one book chapter under her belt, our client’s research findings were well-received by other pharmaceutical scientists. This is further exemplified through the 145 times her work was cited at the time of filing. In addition to that, our client’s insights are respected by other researchers, as seen by the 16 times she judged the work of her peers for prominent scientific journals.

Our client’s unique portfolio of accomplishments allowed us to build a strong EB-1A case on her behalf. We are pleased that the USCIS was persuaded by our presentation and granted their approval. Our client is now significantly closer to a green card, and all she has to do is file an I-485 application to adjust her status for permanent residence. She is doing so with the help of our D.I.Y Packet, and we wish her the best with this.
