North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) helped a postdoctoral fellow file an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition. Our client, who is from India, has applied cutting-edge engineering principles to healthcare breakthroughs, such as the development of microfluidic platforms that allow for the ultrasensitive detection of biomolecules by using single molecule detection and droplet microfluidic technologies. His work has advanced the United States’ scientific and medical communities, particularly through the introduction of more affordable and accurate methods of biological sample screening.

Several experts in our client’s field of biomedical engineering lent support to our client’s EB-1A case in the form of recommendation letters. One of these recommenders had this to say about our client’s work: “[Client’s] innovative design of a droplet microfluidic system, which has optimized high-throughput combinatorial screening, remains unsurpassed by other researchers in his field.” Our legal team included these letters in the petition packet submitted to the USCIS.
