This statement is drawn from a recommendation letter highlighting the client’s leadership in biomedical science, particularly in advanced disease research, experimental modeling, and biomarker development.

 

The client’s work focuses on disease pathology and biomarker discovery, with an emphasis on complex human diseases, inflammatory and metabolic disorders, and related diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. Holding a Ph.D. in biomedical science, the client was conducting research at a U.S. university at the time of filing, where the client continued studying disease mechanisms, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets.

 

North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) prepared the I-140 EB-1A petition by presenting the client’s work as a record of sustained scientific influence, not merely a list of publications. To demonstrate the client’s significance, we highlighted how independent researchers relied on the client’s findings in later studies involving osteopontin in chronic liver disease, albumin modifications in severe alcoholic hepatitis, iron homeostasis in acute-on-chronic liver failure, disease prognosis, biomarker discovery, inflammation, and translational diagnostic methods. These examples helped show that the client’s research had practical value for scientists working to understand complex disease mechanisms and improve clinical assessment.

 

The petition also explained the strength of the client’s citation record in context. At least 11 of the client’s papers ranked among the most highly cited Clinical Medicine articles for their publication years, including multiple papers in the top 1% and top 10% citation ranges. This evidence helped demonstrate that the client’s work had received recognition beyond ordinary publication and had been repeatedly relied upon by the field.
