The client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with in this case was a Postdoctoral Scholar from Iran. His work has focused specifically on Graphene, a two-dimensional (2D) carbon composite material; metamaterial modeling and fabrication of wire medium, also known as artificial plasma; and metamaterial-based antenna design using wire medium, as well as on modeling of nanoparticles for biomedical implementation and on other high-quality antenna and filter designs. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 13 peer-reviewed journal articles and 13 conference papers. His publications had been cited at least 40 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field. The importance of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client] also proposed a practical biasing ground sheet for graphene, which canalizes the graphene’s surface plasmons. This offers direct application in the superlensing process for terahertz application (technically known as subwavelength imaging). In addition to helping science better understand the transfer of electromagnetic energy, this work also offers key insights for the development of technological and telecommunication advances.” Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 4 months and 8 days.
