Case Summary:

North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) was hired by a graduate research assistant from China to help him attain a green card. Our client is actively conducting research in the field of nutritional sciences and has made a name for himself as one of the most influential researchers in his field. With a doctoral degree and 26 publications that had gathered over 500 citations, our client had the educational and professional background to qualify for EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver).

As part of our strategy, we advised our client to contact other experts in his field for recommendation letters. Four experts obliged, one of whom wrote, “Not only has [Client] been recognized for the impressive research he has conducted throughout his career, but also for being an especially influential member of the research community. His work has influenced dozens and dozens of other projects that would not have been possible without his initial contributions. It is clear that he is a valuable asset to the field and should be supported as such.” This strong show of support was supplemented by detailed accounts of our client’s research projects that have been applied to animal agriculture, veterinary medicine, and human medicine. We demonstrated that our client has examined the functional roles of key molecules, compounds and pathways, performed proteomic analysis studies, and elucidated the mechanisms involved in multiple key processes in reproductive biology, fetal development, and cell growth—all of which significantly benefit the United States. We also established that not many other researchers with the same qualifications can attain the same level of success as our client.

We congratulate our client on this milestone and look forward to helping him attain permanent residency.
