Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law GroupWeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with in this case was a Project Scientist from China. Her work has focused specifically on the development and characterization of complicated materials, beginning with work in composite colloids and more recently focusing on adhesive proteins found in mussels. We successfully demonstrated that her continued employment in the field would benefit those in her field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving her highly significant contributions to her field, 19 peer-reviewed journal articles, 2 book chapters, and numerous conference papers; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  The importance of her work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client’s] work on the adhesion of mfp-3 to titanium has great practical importance for the development of medical glues to work with titanium implants in the human body. For example, titanium is frequently used in joint replacements, and medical researchers are always looking for more secure ways to attach the implants to the existing bone.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. Her NIW petition was approved in 4 months and 11 days.
