Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law GroupWeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with in this case was a Medical Resident from China.  His research has focused on the novel characterization, evaluation, and elucidation of the molecular mechanisms and cellular processes enabling the formation of bacterial biofilms. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 14 peer-reviewed journal articles, 2 patents, and 9 conference presentations. His publications had been cited at least 210 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  The importance of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “There have been many people who have researched the environmental factors affecting biofilm formation but there is not a solid or concise idea of what is required to form a biofilm. This is an admirable finding within the Microbiology field. Not only was [client] able to discover and understand the nutritional requirements necessary for biofilm to form he was also able to identify the importance of the specific amino acids for a biofilm formation.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 4 months and 12 days.
