Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law GroupWeGreened.com had the opportunity to work in the case was a Postdoctoral Fellow from Taiwan.  Her work had focused specifically on the developing an anti-bacterial hydroxyapatite coating on medical Ti6Al4V alloy, using microfluidic devices to perform electrotaxis studies of human lung cancer cells, and patient-specific stem cell grafting for peripheral nerve regeneration. We successfully demonstrated that her continued employment in the field would benefit those in her field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving her highly significant contributions to her field, including 7 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous conference papers. Her publications had been cited at least 34 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  The inherit merit of her work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client] further developed a large electrotactic chips to analyze large quantities of EF-treated cell samples at the gene or protein level. She demonstrated the effective use of these chips for analyzing human lung cancer cells behaviors in electric fields and her results suggested the relevance of electrotaxis to tumor metastasis.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. Her NIW petition was approved in 3 months and 22 days.
