Case Summary:

In this case, the client that North America Immigration Law Group - WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with was a Research Associate from South Korea.  His work had focused specifically on neural biomedical technology by improving the interface between the brain and neural system and prosthetic devices and by improving the technology used to interpret neural data.  We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 10 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papersand three patent disclosures. These publications had been cited at least 61 times at the time of case filing, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in his field.  The national benefit of his research was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[His] BMI setup expands options for prosthesis patients by expanding the capabilities of their devices. Prosthesis patients will be able to, thanks to [his] contributions, take part in a broader range of life-enriching activities in the future, including the possibility of gainful employment which will benefit the entire national economy.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 5 months and 25 days.
