Case Summary:
The client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with in this case was a Ph.D. Candidate from China. Her work has focused specifically on identifying novel diagnostic markers for better detecting and preventing a variety of cancers and developing potent cancer treatment modules for pediatric brain cancers, colorectal cancers, pediatric cancers and carcinomas based on neutraceuticals and pre-established FDA-approved drugs. We successfully demonstrated that her continued employment in the field would benefit those in her field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving her highly significant contributions to her field, including 10 peer-reviewed journal articles, 2 journal abstracts, 1 book chapter, and 14 conference presentations. Her publications had been cited at least 68 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field. The importance of her work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client’s] discoveries have transformed the knowledge base supporting cancer research, not just in NB and MB, but in cancers operating via likewise mechanisms. The data and revelations provided by [client’s] research are the first ever recorded and pave the way for [A drug]-mediated treatments in these cancers.” Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. Her NIW petition was approved in 3 months and 13 days.
