The client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work in this case was a Postdoctoral Fellow from Vietnam. His work has focused specifically on high-performance computing and advanced materials science computational modeling. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 18 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 9 presentations at national and international conferences. His publications had been cited at least 100 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field. The importance of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “When studying and designing new materials, it is crucial to have accurate structure prediction, which is an area of particular expertise of [client], who applied such methods to problems of hydrogen storage. In this work, [client] explored two solid state materials that are good candidates for hydrogen storage, complex metal borohydrides and complex metal aluminum hydrides. Once identified, the material that can safely store hydrogen in a solid form will have an immediate effect on the way humans use stored energy.” Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 7 months and 29 days.
