Case Summary:

In this case, the client that North America Immigration Law Group - WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with was a Postdoctoral Fellow from Iran.  His work had focused specifically in the area of climate change through the study of land-ocean-atmosphere interaction on global and regional scales.  We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including one scholarly book, 9 peer-reviewed scientific articles published in leading journals, and numerous presentations at national and international conferences and seminars. At the time we filed his case, these publications had been cited at least 30 timesby independent and leading researchers from prestigious institutions and organizations around the world, indicating the major significance of his work.  The impact of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “Based on [his] subsequent research results on applications of "fuzzy sets theory", it was shown that appropriate water resources management plans that are specific to predictions of seasonal precipitation using large-scale climatic signals can be established nationally and globally. In areas that are more arid than others, this translates into more efficient use of water supplies.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 6 months and 9 days.
