Case Summary:

In this case, the client that North America Immigration Law GroupWeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with was a Postdoctoral Research Associate from Taiwan.  Her work had focused on studying the energetic processes of the heart and how they become damaged by maladaptive forces, contributing to heart disease.  We successfully demonstrated that her continued employment in the field would benefit those in her field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving her highly significant contributions to her field, including 7 peer-reviewed journal articlesand numerous conference papers. These publications had been cited at least 140 times at the time of case filing by researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field of cardiology.  The immense value of her research was confirmed in the following quote from a recommender, “[She] is a talented scholar dedicated to biomedical research with special focus on cardiovascular disease. Importantly, [her] research has significantly advanced our understanding of the metabolic basis leading to heart failure, a terminal disease affecting millions of Americans. Her research has also contributed to the development of novel treatment for this disease”.  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. Her NIW petition was approved in 6 months.
