Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law GroupWeGreened.com had the opportunity to work in this case was a Research Associate from China.  His work had focused specifically on the development of a new parameter estimation approach helpful in estimating evapotranspiration, evaluating the environmental consequences of certain agricultural practices, and the application of the ground penetrating radar for the evaluation of potential hazards at construction sites. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 4 peer-reviewed journal articles published in English, 2 additional peer-reviewed papers published in Chinese, a conference paper in English, and numerous conference presentations. His publications had been cited at least 29 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  The importance of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client’s] work is significant for the country's ability to model climates and weather patterns, as well as the prediction of the impact of land-use changes, and agricultural and water resource planning.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 4 months and 14 days.
