Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work in this case was a Postdoctoral Fellow from India.  His work had focused specifically on biomedical applications such as the development of next-generation biosensors for diagnosis and monitoring of disease, and the use of Neutron Reflectivity to characterize polymeric thin films and the interface of drugs and their binding materials. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 10 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous conference papers. His publications had been cited at least 98 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  The inherit merit of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender,“the significance of [Client’s] work lies mainly in its novelty and its applicability to easy continuous glucose monitoring in diabetics. With the technologies that [Client] has refined, new implantable biosensors can be created for both early detection of diabetes through identification of the associated chemical imbalance and for more effective management of diabetes in the long run. This has been a huge step for improving the quality of life of diabetics, which represent a huge portion of our population.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 3 months and 4 days.
