Exactly a year and 8 days after North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) filed an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition for a postdoctoral research fellow from Brazil, the USCIS approved his petition. It usually takes the USCIS between 4-9 months to adjudicate I-140 petitions, so when the processing time went beyond the norm, we raised a service request on our client’s behalf. Not long after that, our client received notification of case approval.

In order to prove to the USCIS that our client deserved the national interest waiver, we had to demonstrate his high standing in the field of aerospace engineering. We also had to prove that he is one of only a scant handful of researchers who can attain such impactful research results.
