Case Summary:

In this recent case, a medical associate from India needed our help to file an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition on her behalf. Our client’s research focuses on performing risk assessments and improving prognostic, diagnostic, and treatment methods for liver cancer, metastatic anal cancer, follicular lymphoma, and stem cell transplantation procedures. Her experience in the field of oncology has enabled her to develop a single treatment modality cure recovery from colorectal cancer, prepare a clinical trial for targeted drug agents in follicular lymphoma, and continue developing a haploidentical transplantation algorithm for patients requiring stem cell transplants. In our petition packet, we carefully detailed all her groundbreaking projects and demonstrated their importance to the United States.

North America Immigration Law Group also helped our client gather several letters of support from specialists in her field. One of these experts expressed that “The wide influence and implementation of [Client’s] original findings on the relation between spleen enlargement and hepatic damage, as well as the ongoing relevance of her other findings on colorectal cancer and related subjects to her scientific cohort, suggests to me that one can expect a comparable level of achievement in the future.” Furthermore, our client’s EB-2 NIW petition included summaries of her publication and citation record, which at the time of filing amounted to 168 overall citations and 7 published papers. We also described her extensive background in medicine by elaborating on her Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) and her Master of Public Health (M.P.H.).

We are pleased to note that our client is one step closer towards obtaining her green card and we wish her the very best.
