Case Summary:

“Luminescence thermometers were already widely used at the time of this project, but [the client’s] confirmation that these materials were viable candidates revealed the functionality of luminescence thermometers in optical thermometry. This has many applications, especially in biosensing activities around the world. [The client’s] work has outlined a method to synthesize and prepare nanocrystals for this far more efficiently than methods commonly used previously. In light of this, [the client’s] cutting-edge developments into improving the processes behind bioimaging techniques stand to benefit the world at large.”

The above passage makes it clear that the client is a talented researcher whose work is of interest to the entire globe. Wanting to file her National Interest Waiver petition, a postdoctoral associate in advanced engineering materials from Sri Lanka approached our firm. As is customary, our team looked into her documents and once they had confirmed her merit, began drafting her petition.

[The client’s] studies on techniques for yielding superior performances with more common material and more straightforward synthesis procedures offer great advantages, and it is to the U.S.’s favor to support her ongoing career.”

• Not only this, but her research has resulted in 8 peer-reviewed journal articles (4 of them first-authored). And these publications have been cited a total of 46 times according to Google Scholar, thereby demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field of advanced engineering materials.
• On the other hand, she has also pursued research directly related to her proposed endeavor of designing guidelines for developing nanoscale films for sensing and energy storage applications for 7 years.
