Case Summary:

In this specific case, we were approached with a physician in field of Cardiology with minimum publication and citation record. This physician; originally from Jordan, was seeking permanent residence in the United States so that he could continue his practice. It is important to note that, not only did this client’s research in a field not directly pertaining to his future field of interest, but his plans for future research and underlying goals could not be attributed to his previous honors. Although we at Chen Immigration Law Associates have dealt with many difficult cases, this case appeared to be particularly challenging.  We suggested the client to work very closely with us and tried to provide all the evidence we requested.

Specific to this client’s case, we organized a strategy based on the importance of the client’s previous accolades and his developments within numerous concentrations of the field of medicine. Because a lot of his previous work had dealt with numerous medical sects; such as cancer research and Hodgkin’s lymphoma, we focused on what this research has meant to the United States. In addition, we presented the benefits associated with the client’s previous research and the inspiration and future advancements that will be derived in reference to it.

Considering the extremely fast-paced and busy mindset of many physicians, publishing new material is often not of the greatest importance. As a physician, this client had both low citations and low published works. Therefore, we knew it was crucial to the case to establish the importance of future developments within the field of cardiology and the unique skillset presented by this client. Because the client has made such important advancements in numerous other fields; even though he had not passed his boards as a licensed cardiologist, we were able to argue the importance of his continued research in this new field of interest.

We at Chen Immigration Law Associates approached this challenging case by assisting with the drafting of several letters for both dependent colleagues and independent referees, who could best establish the importance associated with the client’s continual research, and the potential advancements that will result based on his unique and innovative skillset.

Because of our successful proven strategy, we were able to present the best possible case and in turn were able to secure an approved petition on August 9th 2012.
