Case Summary:     

We are pleased to share the success story of an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) approval granted to a physicist from Ghana whose work is advancing the development of next-generation infrared technologies. At the time of filing, our client had earned an M.Sc. in physics and was conducting research in the United States. His proposed endeavor is to continue using nanosecond laser pulses to stimulate and analyze the radiometric properties of vertically aligned carbon nanotubes, a line of research with the potential to provide the U.S. Air Force with more cost-effective and robust tools for simulating infrared signatures in combat and training scenarios.

Filed in April 2024, the petition was approved in August 2025 – under 16 months later, without receiving any RFE.
