Case Summary:

Because of this, [Client] is a necessary figure in the global community of computational and theoretical chemistry researchers, whose work should not be impeded by her absence in the United States.” This quote is excerpted from one of the five recommendation letters volunteered by expert computational chemists in support of our client’s petition to become an American permanent resident.

There is no doubt that the field of computational chemistry has been significantly progressed thanks to the efforts of our client, a postdoctoral fellow from India. She hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help her obtain green cards for herself and her spouse, and we went about it in an efficient and professional manner.

We started off by filing an I-140 petition under the EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) visa category. Our client’s plan was to get it approved first before filing I-485 applications for herself and her husband (the final step in the green card process). As we were filing our client’s petition under EB-1A, we had to work diligently to prove to the USCIS that her work contributes to the betterment of the United States, most notably when it comes to optical memory storage in compact discs and digital versatile discs as well as pharmaceutical development to treat diabetes.

Besides chronicling our client’s M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry, we included other important evidence of her impressive skills. We left no stone unturned and when we were ready to file her EB-1A case, we had amassed a wealth of information on her professional performance as an expert computational chemist. We noted her 10 publications, 3 instances of peer review service, and the 280 citations to her work.

Going the distance:

We recently helped her and her spouse submit their I-485 applications to adjust their status for permanent residence.
