Case Summary:
With a doctoral degree and many years of experience advancing the field of chemical engineering, an associate professor from China hired North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) to help him obtain EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition approval.
What did we do to obtain petition approval?
We had to demonstrate that our client has a sustained record of success in the field of chemical engineering, is internationally/nationally acclaimed, and is at the top of his field. We did this by collating information related to his various achievements in the field. For example, we listed his 74 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 7 conference presentations, the 1,310 citations to his work, and the 26 times he conducted peer reviews.
In addition to that, we reviewed and understood his important work on the thermodynamics, synthesis, and application of nanomaterials and their derivatives. Based on what we learned, we informed the USCIS that his findings are important to American industries, particularly when it comes to improving vehicle manufacturing, catalysis, and bioenergy production.
Implementing additional evidence:
To further strengthen our client’s EB1A petition, we included recommendation letters signed by other experts working in the field. From a dean to an assistant professor, our client’s recommenders are prominent and credible members of the chemical engineering research community. We are pleased that our client secured EB1A petition approval and is one significant step closer to a green card.
