Case Summary:
A postdoctoral research associate from China approached North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help him with the first step of the green card process (filing an I-140 petition). After evaluating his credentials, we determined that we would be able to build a convincing EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) case for him. With an impressive citation, publication, and peer review record, our client certainly fit the bill when it came to fulfilling the EB-1A requirements.
What did his EB-1A petition encompass?
We took great care to include as much information as possible on our client’s professional achievements. Our goal was to prove to the USCIS that his work on drug-drug interactions mediated by membrane transporters or metabolizing enzymes positively impact the United States, most notably its drug development and medical sectors.
So what did our client’s petition contain? For one, we listed the 33 peer-reviewed scientific articles and multiple conference presentations to his name, his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science, the 118 citations gathered from his work, and the 19 times he conducted peer reviews for several scientific periodicals. Besides these details, we also incorporated recommendation letters volunteered by some of pharmaceutical science’s brightest minds, all of whom firmly advocated for the approval of our client’s EB-1A petition. One of our client’s recommenders had this to say about his work: “[Client’s] research successes far exceed those of others with comparable education and experience. It would be impossible to replace him with an equally qualified researcher, as he has proven himself to be unmatched in this line of study.”
Exactly 7 months and 18 days after we filed our client’s EB-1A case, Texas Service Center approved it. We would like to thank our client for selecting us to represent his case. The approval of this EB-1A petition is another example of our excellent record of helping our clients fulfill their dreams of getting a step closer to green card success.
