Her work had primarily focused on the research and development of biologically active molecules for drug discovery, the synthesis of molecules to capture carbon dioxide from fossil fuel plants for CO₂ reduction in the environment, and polymer grafting for industrial applications. Her work had resulted in at least 14 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 17 conference publications.  At the time that her case was filed, her publications had accumulated at least 225 citations, clearly demonstrating that she had influenced her field and garnered international acclaim.  In addition, she had conducted 14 paper reviews for journals related to the field of chemistry.
