Case Summary:

In this case, the client that North America Immigration Law Group - WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with was an Engineer from South Korea.  His work had focused specifically on computational aeroacoustics, mainly in the area of reducing the noise level of jet engines, rocket launchers, weapons of war, and more.  We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including at least 7 peer-reviewed journal articlesand numerous conference papers. These publications had been cited at least 14 times at the time of case filing by independent researchers around the world, which was impressive considering the low citation climate in his field.  The significance of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “The practical benefits of the accurate prediction of aircraft noise are numerous. Firstly, it allows for the quantification of the sensitivities of the different components at various flight conditions. It also allows engineers to identify and pinpoint the individual noise components and consequently establish their dominance. This prediction model, because of the minimal computer requirements and rapid turnaround time, is ideal for aircraft design and trade studies. Thus, [his] revolutionary prediction method is a powerful tool that gives engineers an excellent understanding of the noise components in aircraft design, and it will certainly lead to the reduction of aircraft noise in future airplanes.  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 6 months and 13 days.
