Success Stories: NIW Petition Approved for a Head of Department Residing Outside the United States in the Field of Biotechnology

Client’s Testimonial:

Many thanks for your great help. I truly appreciate your advice and service to prepare and file my case. I have realized that your team is very professional and sincere to make the NIW case strong enough so there is almost no chance to be denied. I feel fortunate to get NIW approval without [RFE] while I am living outside the United States. I recommend Chen Immigration group for those who want to get a green card.

Case Summary:

In this case we were offered the opportunity to work with a Nepalese biotechnology researcher, who had focused specifically on the analysis of genes and enzymes for the biosynthesis of novel antibacterial compounds. As part of our successful strategy for our client’s case, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, which included 9 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous conference papers.  This work had received at least 159 citations by the time we filed his case, nearly all of which were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating the wide recognition of and reliance upon our client’s work in his field. We also showed that his continued employment in his field would benefit both his field as a whole and the people of the United States in general. An independent recommender confirmed the importance of his work: “Such beneficial advancements to medical treatments as can be provided by [Client’s] ongoing work are of the utmost importance to the U.S. and its citizenry, and should therefore be allowed to continue.” We successfully argued that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 6 months and 25 days.
