Case Summary:

The client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with in this case was a Postdoctoral Fellow from Philippines.  Her work has focused on medical genetics, neural development, and regenerative medicine. We successfully demonstrated that her continued employment in the field would benefit those in her field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving her highly significant contributions to her field, including 4 peer-reviewed journal articles. Her publications had been cited at least 13 times at the time we filed the case; nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  We also submitted evidence of the commercialization of her stem-cell characterization tools by a biotechnology firm. The importance of her work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “[Client’s] work is thus highly important to the field of neural development as it elaborates on the mechanisms by which [gene] acts and further reveals [gene] as a critical co-factor involved in the regulation of bHLH protein activity. Her research also has strong implications in many other related fields, including neural crest development, neuroblastoma biology, and even breast cancer.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience.
