Case Summary:

In this case, the client that North America Immigration Law GroupWeGreened.com had the opportunity to work with was a Research Associate from Russia.  His work had focused primarily on developing alternative energy technologies such as solar cells and lithium-oxygen batteries. We successfully demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would benefit those in his field, as well as the citizens of the United States at large. In order for our client’s case to be successful, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, including 12 peer-reviewed journal articlesand 1 filed patent. His publications had been cited at least 51 times at the time we filed the case and nearly all of the citations were by independent researchers, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field.  The value of his work was confirmed in the following quote from an independent recommender, “Both of [his] projects are foundational for alleviating the most pressing problems in energy and environmentalism. High capacity batteries and solar panels together would form a power gird that is both smart and sustainable. Sunlight, and thus solar energy, is freely available in many parts of the United States and could be harvested in abundance. To avoid wasting the unused energy, the grid could transfer unused power to high capacity batteries, such as Li-O2 batteries, to transfer the energy to other regions or to store it until it is needed.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in 6 months and 16 days.
