Given the ongoing nationwide governmental and private support for research into nanotechnology, it is clear that the United States requires the work of our client, as his developments in the field of chemistry continue to provide the nation with unique and critically significant progress in nanomaterials and nanoparticles.
• Due to its clear national importance, his research has in fact been supported with funding from the NSF, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), the Asahi Kasei Corporation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Basic Research Project of China.
• He has completed at least 8 peer reviews to date and since only the most highly esteemed researchers in the field are invited to evaluate the work of their peers, especially in authoritative journals, it is clear that he is seen as very knowledgeable in the field and an expert in topics related to his proposed endeavor.
• Finally, his research has resulted in 10 peer-reviewed journal articles (2 of them first-authored), which have been cited at least 163 times.
• He has been pursuing research directly related to his proposed endeavor for 7 years and has thus gathered immense knowledge over the years.
• His 2 letters of recommendation, one each from a dependent and an independent scholar in the field testified to his extraordinary ability further.
