Client’s Testimonial:

“Thank you very much for your help…”

On February 12th, 2016, we received another EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) approval for an Assistant Professor in the Field of Materials Science (Approval Notice).

General Field: Materials Science

Position at the Time of Case Filing: Assistant Professor

Country of Origin: China

Service Center: Texas Service Center (TSC)

State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Pennsylvania

Approval Notice Date: February 12th, 2016

Processing Time: 4 months, 13 days

Case Summary:

The immigration officers at TSC spent four and a half months adjudicating this EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) case. Our client, an assistant professor from China, hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help with his application of National Interest Waiver.

As part of our approach, we compiled all the relevant information regarding our client’s accomplishments. These included the 33 citations to his 4 publications, and copies of his advanced degrees and transcripts. We then thoroughly accounted for our client’s research on the properties of novel alloys and established the importance of his work to the United States, specifically to the country’s aeronautical, military, automotive, and material industries. Our legal team then highlighted the fact that not many other researchers with similar skillsets can attain the same level of success as our client.

To further bolster our EB-2 NIW petition, we advised our client to reach out to other influential materials scientists and request them to provide recommendation letters. Our client managed to gather several letters, all of which were incorporated into the petition packet submitted to the USCIS. One of the letters stated this about our client: “[Client] is among the select few individuals who has entered into the highest echelons of the field and without his rare skill set I do not believe that the scientific community would have advanced nearly as far.”

This assistant professor is currently waiting for his priority date to become current before embarking on the final leg of the complex green card journey: the I-485 application. North America Immigration Law Group wishes him the very best.
