Case Summary:

 

A research assistant from Iran engaged the services of North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help her obtain a green card. With an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and 173 citations to her work, she had strong credentials to qualify for EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver). Our client chose to file her I-485 while her I-140 was pending (there are two steps to getting a green card: I-140 petition and I-485 application). She recently received the good news that her I-140 petition had been approved after nearly four months of adjudication, and a month later, news of her I-485 application approval followed suit.

Our well-thought-out EB-2 NIW petition packet played a role in the rapid adjudication. We diligently accounted for our client’s research projects on the application of critical and analytical skills to modern engineering difficulties, such as tissue regeneration for use in the treatment of various debilitating diseases, or ionic fluid use in natural gas purification.
